These students, photographed in their homes, are members of the first graduating class in the first school of architecture in Rwanda. Photographed with visiting professor Yutaka Sho, they are also joined by friends, brothers, cousins, mothers and grandmothers who have created a variety of families in the seventeen years following the Rwandan genocide. The other interiors are in the homes in a village in the Masoro sector in Rwanda, which was established as a cooperative after the war.
